Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Medication Aide to join our team at The Villa at Texarkana. As a Medication Aide, you will be responsible for assisting nursing staff in the administration of medications to residents, as well as providing daily living assistance and support. Responsibilities:
Assist nursing staff in administering medications to residents, as directed
Provide daily living assistance, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Assist with mobility and ambulation of residents
Document medication administration and resident care in accordance with facility policies
Participate in care planning and implement individualized care plans
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Requirements:
Certified Medication Aide certification in the state of Texas
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compassionate and patient with a focus on delivering exceptional resident care
