About the Role:
We're seeking an experienced Program/Project Manager to support IT Professional Services Procurement (PSP) delivery initiatives at our Oakland General Office (OGO) campus. This hybrid role works on projects of moderate scope and complexity, applying standard project management practices with general guidance on new assignments. Ideal candidates are comfortable operating independently while collaborating across a matrixed organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects of moderate scope and complexity from initiation through completion
- Apply standard project management methodologies and analysis
- Operate with general guidance, exercising independent judgment on day-to-day execution
- Provide periodic progress updates and ensure successful project close-out
- Support risk management processes across project lifecycles
- Collaborate effectively across matrixed teams and stakeholder groups
Qualifications
Required:
- BA/BS in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of relevant project/program management experience
- Hands-on SAP experience
- Planisware experience
- Strong Excel skills
Preferred:
- Experience with risk management frameworks
- Prior work in matrixed, cross-functional environments
- Background in technical or IT-related project delivery
Work Environment
- Office-based role with occasional travel to project or construction sites as needed (less than 10% travel)
- Weekly time reporting (time in/time out), 8-hour days, 40-hour weeks
