CNC Machinist
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join an established aerospace-focused manufacturing operation. This is a job-shop environment where machinists regularly set up new jobs and work with a variety of materials and CNC equipment.
Core Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC milling machines and/or lathes to produce precision components.
- Independently set up tooling, fixtures, workholding, and workpieces for new jobs.
- Make program adjustments directly at the machine to maintain quality and dimensional requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and machining specifications.
- Perform in-process and finished-part inspections.
- Work with materials including aluminum, titanium, Inconel, and various steels.
- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and setup issues.
- Collaborate with engineering and shop personnel to resolve production and quality issues.
- 4+ years of CNC setup experience, preferably in a job-shop environment.
- Strong experience independently setting up CNC milling machines or lathes.
- Ability to make program adjustments directly at the machine.
- Strong blueprint and technical drawing interpretation skills.
- Experience working with a variety of materials, particularly titanium, Inconel, aluminum, or steel.
- Experience with Haas, FANUC, YASNAC, or similar CNC controls.
- Experience with multi-axis CNC equipment is a plus.
- CAD/CAM experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience with both CNC milling and lathe equipment is a plus, but candidates with strong experience in either discipline are encouraged to apply.
- Monday–Friday
- First Shift: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- Second Shift: 11:30 AM–8:00 PM
- Overtime available
$25–$40/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
