About the Role:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant at Loyalhanna Care Center, you will be responsible for providing direct care to our residents, including:
Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Providing assistance with mobility and ambulation
Monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes to the nursing staff
Maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents
Interacting with residents and providing emotional support and companionship
Responsibilities:
Provide personalized care to each resident, tailored to their specific needs and preferences
Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident care
Participate in activities and events that promote resident engagement and enjoyment
Demonstrate a commitment to quality care and resident-centered services
Requirements:
Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Pennsylvania
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents with assistance as needed
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
