This position is ideal for recent engineering graduates or individuals seeking a career path that combines hands-on technical experience with long-term engineering and project management growth opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble commercial and industrial water treatment equipment, piping systems, skids, and integrated process systems according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Perform mechanical testing, operational checkout, and system verification prior to shipment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and process-related issues during assembly and testing.
  • Participate in factory acceptance testing (FAT) and support commissioning activities as required.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, bills of material, assembly drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Work alongside Project Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, Field Service Engineers, and Project Managers to gain exposure to the full project lifecycle.
  • Learn water treatment processes and technologies including reverse osmosis, deionization, filtration, softening, UV, EDI, and related process equipment.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in safety, quality, production efficiency, and manufacturing processes.
  • Maintain accurate assembly, testing, and quality documentation.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
  • Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Engineering preferred); equivalent experience considered.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude required, willing to work in a hands-on manufacturing environment for extended periods, able to learn electrical systems and programming PLC/VFD/HMI devices.
  • Will consider all experience levels, including new graduates; willing to train the right candidate.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, electrical schematics, and P&IDs.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 75 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Team lifting or material-handling equipment may be used when required by safety procedures.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%, possibly internationally as well.

Target Salary Range: $70,000 - 80,000 per year, paid hourly. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, experience, level, geographic location, and business and organizational needs.
