CNC Lathe Operator Day Shift or Night Shift Available
Job Description
• Read, interpret and follow blueprints, geometrical tolerance, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products.
• Experience with tight tolerance machining up to “.0001 is preferred.
• Able to operate CNC lathes. Okuma, Hardinge and Mori Seiki experience is a plus.
• Experience with FANUC controls and Okuma.
• Trouble shoot problems independently, and ability to help fellow machinists.
• Ability to operate CMM Machine and interpret data to ensure parts are manufactured according to specification and blueprint call outs.
• Able to utilize calipers and manual measurement tools to conduct data checks that cannot be verified via CMM output.
• Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.
• Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
