Job Summary:The Rule Processor's primary responsibility is to cut straight and 90 degree knife for flat and rotary dies and to perform regular maintenance on the rule processing machines. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Additional duties may be assignedSelect and process rule according to order specifications and quality standardsIdentifying nonconforming material during inspection activities and follow up with supervisorsMaintain safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulationsMake all necessary machine adjustments to ensure tolerancesDocument actions by completing production, quality and maintenance logsDocument processing time time on job cards and in CyFrameContribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededKnowledge, Skills, and Ability:High School graduate or GED EquivalentAbility to read, write, and speak EnglishAbility to read and understand blueprintsAbility to read a tape measurePractical understanding of manufacturing, equipment and workflowMinimal knowledge of power tool operationBasic computer knowledgeAbility to work independentlyPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand while working 8-10 hour shiftsFrequent walking back and forth between machines and storage roomMust be able to hear to listen to instructionsFrequent lifting/carrying of product (50+ pounds)Ability to distinguish colorsEnvironmental Conditions:Constant noiseHigh dust levelsGeneral comments:This is high-speed, high pressure production work in a competitive manufacturing environment.
