MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Monday - Friday
7:00 am - 5:00 pm
$24.47 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues.
  • Repair, replace, and adjust components such as drive systems, clutches, motors, and related equipment.
  • Perform welding, cutting, brazing, and basic fabrication as needed to support maintenance activities.
  • Conduct maintenance and repairs on industrial vehicles and mobile equipment, including forklifts and utility vehicles.
  • Utilize testing and diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions.
  • Safely operate lifting equipment, including cranes, man lifts, and other material-handling devices.
  • Accurately document maintenance work performed, parts used, and labor hours.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and occasional after-hours maintenance needs to support production operations.
  • Follow all safety procedures and promptly report unsafe conditions or equipment concerns.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and perform other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to use tire-changing equipment and tools
  • Ability to troubleshoot DC voltages
  • Read and write clearly
  • Is always diligent to work safely, and to follow safe working practices, including Lockout/Tag Out procedures and other safety procedures
  • Basic shop math. Multiplication, division, decimals to fractions, fractions to decimals.
  • Obtain forklift and crane equipment certification companies program
HIGHLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL ALSO POSSESS THESE QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes.
  • Strong understanding of diesel and gasoline engines, transmissions, and related components.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic systems.
  • Industrial maintenance or mechanic background in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skilled in working with pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Comfortable using computer applications, including PLC software, Windows-based programs, and maintenance systems.
