CNC Machinist / Fabricator – Mills, Plasma Cutting & Stainless Steel
Location: Novi, MI
Type: Full-Time
Pay Range: Up to $37/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible hours available)
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist / Fabricator with strong experience in CNC milling, plasma cutting, and stainless steel fabrication.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing, high-tech team working on advanced automation systems, tooling, and custom fabrication projects.
The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC mills, cutting and forming stainless steel components, and understanding multiple cutting heads and tooling setups.
What You’ll Do
%CF; Set up, program, and operate CNC milling machines for precision component production
%CF; Perform plasma cutting and fabrication on stainless steel and various metals
%CF; Select, install, and maintain appropriate tooling and cutting heads for each project
%CF; Inspect finished parts to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish quality
%CF; Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and manufacturing specifications
%CF; Maintain machines and work area in clean, safe, and efficient working condition
%CF; Collaborate with engineering and fabrication teams to support automation projects
%CF; Perform occasional fitting, welding, or light assembly work as needed
What You Bring
%CF; 5+ years of CNC milling and metal fabrication experience (HAAS or FANUC experience preferred)
%CF; Strong knowledge of plasma cutting techniques and parameters for stainless steel
%CF; Hands-on understanding of tooling, cutting heads, and workholding setups
%CF; Ability to read blueprints and CAD models to produce precision parts
%CF; Experience with both prototype and production machining environments
%CF; Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
%CF; Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
%CF; Reliable, team-oriented, and safety-focused work ethic
