Caregiver, CNA, or Patient Care Tech (Sun, Mon, Thu 8am to 4pm) - Grow into a Care Supervisor!

Schedule Requirements: Sunday, Monday, and Thursday 8am-5pm

As an In-Home Caregiver, you will provide 1:1 care to clients throughout North County San Diego, including Vista, Escondido, San Marcos, Oceanside, Carlsbad, Encinitas, Solana Beach, Del Mar, and La Jolla. You must be willing to work in these areas and able to reliably commute to client homes within 45 minutes or less.

In addition to providing compassionate, hands-on care, you must be highly organized and able to help manage the household, including coordinating appointments, keeping track of schedules, and assisting with administrative and other day-to-day tasks as needed.

What You’ll Do

• Provide one-on-one care, companionship, and support for seniors, veterans, and adults with disabilities

• Assist with ADLs — bathing, dressing, meals, mobility, toileting, hygiene, and more

• Help manage the client’s household, including keeping schedules organized and assisting with appointments and day-to-day coordination

• Assist with administrative tasks, such as organizing paperwork, making phone calls, scheduling appointments, and coordinating with providers or the office team as needed

• Maintain client safety and dignity with professionalism

• Observe and report changes in condition to the office team

• Represent A Place at Home – Encinitas with compassion, reliability, organization, and respect

What We’re Looking For

• You are a Caregiver, licensed CNA, HHA, or Medical Assistant

• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Must pass drug screen, background check, and employment verification

Other Schedules Available:

• Part-time and full-time

Pay

• The hourly rate for this specific client is $24 per hour.

• For assignments with other clients, pay may vary depending on the caregiver’s experience, skills, and length of time working in the caregiving field.
