Oakbrook Corporation is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Berkshire Sheboygan Falls, a 65-unit senior housing community in Sheboygan Falls, WI. If you enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and take pride in providing excellent service, this is an opportunity to build a rewarding career with a company that values its people and the residents we serve.In this 32-hour per week role, you'll help maintain the overall appearance, safety, and functionality of the community while creating a positive living experience for our senior residents. No two days are the same, and your work will make a direct impact on the quality of life of those who call Berkshire Sheboygan Falls home.Duties & ResponsibilitiesManage the repair/replacement processes on HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, plumbing systems, electrical systems, appliancesManage and maintain work orders, turnover of vacant units, and scheduling contractors for estimates and approved contracted workPerform routine and scheduled maintenance tasks to include; grounds care, common areas, trash and recycling, safety inspections, monthly and quarterly inspections, and preventative maintenanceAssist in maintaining the operating budget for turnovers, R&M, and capex budgeted itemsReport accidents, emergency, or safety concerns to supervisor immediatelySupport additional properties as needed in the assigned areaParticipate in the on-call rotation scheduleDemonstrate and follow the Oakbrook ValuesKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesExperience in residential property maintenance or related preferredKnowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, construction, carpentry, painting, and grounds careExceptional interpersonal skills to interact professionally, clearly, and respectfully with residents and team membersMust be able to work independently and as part of a teamBasic RequirementsHigh school diploma or GEDVocation or trade school certifications preferredMust provide personal hand tools needed for the positionValid driver's licenseWhy Oakbrook?Since 1987, Oakbrook Corporation has been providing exceptional property management services throughout the Midwest.
