Duties and Responsibilities
%CF; Assist residents with daily living activities as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), including bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing
%CF; Serve meals, assist with feeding, and provide water and nourishment between meals
%CF; Support residents with mobility, including ambulating, turning, and positioning
%CF; Monitor and document vital signs, weight, intake, and output
%CF; Ensure resident comfort and respond promptly to call lights and requests
%CF; Report changes in resident condition to the nursing supervisor
%CF; Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and resident observations
%CF; Uphold resident privacy and dignity in accordance with HIPAA and facility standards
%CF; Comply with all federal, state, and facility regulations and guidelines
%CF; Stay current through educational opportunities and maintaining CNA certification
%CF; Perform other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
%CF; Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in accordance with state law
%CF; Must be at least 18 years of age
%CF; Long term care experience preferred
%CF; Current CPR certification required
%CF; Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
%CF; Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and assist residents with physical mobility needs
