Canton Christian Home is seeking a compassionate and dependable Resident Care Assistant (RCA) to join our Assisted Living team. We are a nonprofit, 5-Star senior care community that has proudly served residents for more than 50 years.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting residents with daily living activities and personal care
• Responding promptly to resident needs and call lights
• Supporting residents’ comfort, safety, independence, and dignity
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Reporting changes in residents’ conditions to the nurse
• Following care plans, safety procedures, and facility policies
• Maintaining accurate documentation
• Working cooperatively with residents, families, and team members

Qualifications:

• Caring, dependable, and professional
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Previous caregiving experience preferred, but training may be provided
• Able to meet the physical requirements of the position
• Must pass all required background checks and health screenings
• Must be available to work every other weekend and holidays as scheduled
