Job Summary:
St Luke Portage Lakes is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant PTA to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant PTA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide exceptional patient care and rehabilitation services.
Responsibilities:
Assist Physical Therapists in the evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients with orthopedic, neurological, and other injuries or conditions
Implement treatment plans developed by Physical Therapists, including exercises, stretches, and modalities
Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatments and progress
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher in Physical Therapy Assistant program preferred
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Ohio
