Maintenance Technician

Very large property in search of a Maintenance Technician to provide routine maintenance repairs, coordinate vendor activity and assess the physical structures of buildings by performing the following duties:Day-to-day requirements include general maintenance and upkeep of grounds basement stairwells and crawl space areas.Possess basic knowledge of hand toolsRepairs parking lot and sidewalks with asphalt, cold patching materials and concrete. Operates snow removal equipment to maintain parking lots. Must have clear knowledge of plumbing, electric, carpentry, repairing/replacing appliance.Ability operates snow plows, salters, spreaders, for resident requests and apartment preparation. Completing all work in vacant apartments in preparation for the new move in resident. Completing a minimum of 15 work orders daily timely and effectively. Responding to emergency calls within company guidelines.Paint interior exterior walls and trim.Replace kitchen and bathroom tile floor and walls. Assist other departments with moving furniture, appliances and uploading and storing supplies. Required to be in the on-call rotation and respond and repair after hour emergencies onsite within 30 minutes of receiving the call.Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle.Perform other duties assigned by management. Must have a driver's license and vehicle (monthly compensation for vehicle use included in bi-weekly pay).
