Job Description
Position: Part Time
Job Summary:The Certified Nursing Assistant Instructor/Coordinator teaches students how to perform basic patient care services directed at the safety, comfort, personal hygiene, and protection of patients through a combination of classroom lecture, and the coordination of hands-on clinical experience in a local long-term care facility.
Responsibilities:Instructing CNA classes
Maintaining a safe and comprehensive program
Training students to safely and effectively care for patients
Evaluating and reporting of students’ progress
Creating and delivering lecture demonstrations
Ensuring smooth and safe operation of the teaching space.
Must be a Registered Nurse (RN)
Minimum of two years experience, one year in long term care
Vermont NATCEP approved
Ability to instruct classed efficiently
