CNC Manufacturing Technician -- Programming & Troubleshooting

Your work turns raw material into reliable parts. In our Covington, LA and Tangi, LA locations, you’ll combine programming know-how, careful setups, and a problem-solver’s mindset to keep high-quality production moving.

• Prepare and run CNC machines for scheduled production, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
• Own troubleshooting and routine maintenance to keep uptime high.
• Read and apply technical drawings/specifications; leverage CNC programming skills to hit print requirements.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain safety and quality.
• Execute complete setups: tool changes, offsets, and fine adjustments for diverse parts.
• Use manual machining when required to support throughput and quality.
• Apply shop math to verify dimensions and perform calculations.
• Work with the team to improve processes and quickly resolve production challenges.

• Experience as a CNC Machine Operator or equivalent machining background.
• Strong CNC-focused troubleshooting abilities.
• Knowledge of CNC tooling and programming.
• Blueprint and technical drawing literacy.
• Understanding of SOPs in a manufacturing environment.
• Manual machining capability is a plus.
• Proficiency with shop math for accurate measurements and calculations.
• Detail orientation, quality commitment, and effective teamwork/communication.
