In-Home Care Professional – ADL & iADL Support

Santa Ana, CA
Full-Time / Part-Time Available

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate caregiver to provide one on one care for older adults in the comfort of their homes. If you have experience assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs), and companionship, we'd love to hear from you.

Job Responsibilities

As a caregiver, you will provide personalized support to seniors and individuals who need assistance maintaining comfort, safety, and independence at home.

ADL Assistance
  • Bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene
  • Dressing and toileting assistance
  • Mobility and transfer support
  • Feeding assistance when needed
  • Incontinence care
  • Companionship and emotional support
iADL Assistance
  • Meal preparation and light housekeeping
  • Medication reminders
  • Grocery shopping and errands
  • Laundry and linen changes
  • Transportation to appointments or activities
  • Organizing daily routines and ensuring client safety

Qualifications
  • Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required
  • Experience with both ADLs and iADLs preferred
  • Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and follow care plans
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
  • CNA or HCA certification is a plus, but not required

Pay & Benefits
  • $18–$22 per hour (paid biweekly via direct deposit)

Caregiver Requirements
  • Physically able to assist with mobility and transfers
  • Ability to push/pull up to 50 lbs and lift up to 30 lbs
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including some weekends
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or GED required
