Shift : 1st Shift | 6a till 4:30p
Compensation: $32/hr

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations through the troubleshooting, repair, calibration, and preventative maintenance of pneumatic tools, electric DC tools, and production equipment. This role partners closely with Manufacturing Engineering and Production teams to ensure fastening tools and manufacturing equipment remain fully operational and production-ready. The ideal candidate will have hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, strong troubleshooting abilities, and the flexibility to support changing production demands in a fast-paced operation.


Job Duties:

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair pneumatic tools, electric DC tools, and manufacturing equipment using blueprints, repair manuals, and technical documentation
  • Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime
  • Maintain and organize inventory of production tools, backup tools, and repair station equipment
  • Adjust and calibrate torque settings on pneumatic and DC tools during product changeovers
  • Support Manufacturing Engineering with new product launches, tooling requirements, and engineering tests
  • Assist with installation, removal, calibration, and qualification of manufacturing equipment
  • Conduct torque studies and collect data to support troubleshooting and process improvements
  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, repair documentation, and equipment records
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, precision measuring devices, and electronic testing equipment
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations
  • Work collaboratively with engineering, technicians, and production teams to improve equipment performance and efficiency

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 3+ years of maintenance, manufacturing, or equipment repair experience preferred
  • Experience troubleshooting pneumatic tools and electric DC drivers strongly preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, repair manuals, and engineering drawings
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs and manufacturing equipment
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Flexibility to support off-shifts, weekends, and production needs as required
  • Experience with torque tools, calibration equipment, and fastening systems
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis and process improvement methodologies
  • Familiarity with automated manufacturing equipment and assembly operations
  • Ability to train or support other technicians as experience grows
