Make Your MarkIn this role, you’ll take ownership of parts from setup through final inspection—balancing quality, speed, and safety every step of the way.
- Set up and operate multi-axis CNC lathes to produce tight-tolerance parts.
- Decode blueprints, engineering drawings, and specs to plan cutting strategies.
- Choose and install appropriate cutting tools, attachments, and accessories.
- Control process variables—feeds, speeds, offsets—to maintain specification.
- Verify results using micrometers, calipers, and other precision instruments.
- Conduct routine maintenance to ensure machine reliability and uptime.
- Follow manufacturing principles, safety practices, and company policies without compromise.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience running CNC lathes; multi-axis experience is a plus.
- Comfort with hand tools and precision measurement techniques.
- Fluency in G and M codes with the ability to make on-the-fly adjustments.
- Strong blueprint and engineering drawing interpretation skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a craftsmanship mindset.
- Safe, efficient materials handling for loading and unloading parts.
- Knowledge of GD&T and how it drives manufacturing decisions.
- Resourceful problem-solver able to troubleshoot machines and processes.
- Proficiency in aerospace manufacturing.
As a CNC Operator, you’ll consistently meet manufacturing, safety, and policy requirements.
