It is an exciting time for us, and we would like you to be a part of our team!Job SummaryThe I&R Ground Hand is a position for anyone looking to get into the telecommunications trade with little to no experience. Your day to day will consist of working with a lead I&R technician installing and servicing fiber to the home internet service. Primary Role and Responsibilities for the I&R Ground Hand Work with Lead I&R technician on day to day operationsAssist with running all premise related wiring needed to complete jobsAssist with paperwork and documentation when applicableAssist with proper job site clean up and maintenanceAssist with material tracking and vehicle inventory readiness for scheduled work What you need to be successful in this role: Experience with hand tools and power tools preferred but not necessaryAbility to work long hours standing /sitting in a single positionAbility to work in crawlspaces, attics and outdoorsAbility to learn networking equipment specs and functionsValid class E driver's license and good driving recordHigh School Diploma or GED Compensation:On the job trainingInsurance 401KMedical, Vision, DentalPaid Time offLocal workPre-Employment Requirements"As a condition of employment, all candidates for the Internet Field Service Technician position must successfully pass a comprehensive background check and a pre-employment drug screening (which includes testing for marijuana/THC).Due to the safety-sensitive nature of this role, candidates must also possess a valid driver's license and provide a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
