We are seeking a compassionate and reliable individual to provide essential in-home support that helps clients maintain comfort, dignity, and independence. In this role, you will assist with daily living activities, offer companionship, and support a safe and positive home environment. The ideal candidate is attentive, respectful, and committed to delivering high-quality care with professionalism and empathy.
Responsibilities- Assist clients with personal care activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting, as appropriate.
- Support mobility and transfers while following proper safety techniques.
- Provide companionship and emotional support through respectful and engaging interaction.
- Help with light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, laundry, and maintaining an orderly living space.
- Assist with medication reminders, as permitted by care guidelines and local requirements.
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or community activities when needed.
- Observe and report changes in a client’s condition, behavior, or home environment to the appropriate supervisor.
- Follow individualized care plans and agency policies to ensure consistent, person-centered support.
- Previous experience in home care, personal care, or a related caregiving role preferred.
- Ability to provide respectful, patient, and dependable support to individuals with varying needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions, care plans, and safety procedures.
- Physical ability to perform caregiving tasks that may include standing, bending, lifting, and assisting with mobility.
- Valid certification or training relevant to home health aide or personal care assistance may be required, depending on local regulations and employer standards.
- Reliable transportation may be required for certain assignments.
