You arrive at a client site where a VRF system isn’t meeting setpoints. You trace a signal from the controller, verify sensor integrity, compare readings against the schematic, and isolate a failing component. Later, you move to a hydronic panel, balance flows, confirm boiler sequencing, and update digital service records—leaving the space comfortable, compliant, and efficient.

What You’ll Do
  • Maintain and repair commercial/industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems in the field.
  • Leverage schematics, design plans, and tools (ohmmeters, refrigeration testing equipment) to pinpoint issues.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults, then implement reliable corrective actions.
  • Record work details meticulously and work to safety standards and building codes.
  • Support HVAC/R-related property maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Use power tools, hand tools, and diagnostic instruments with care and precision.
  • Maintain safe, orderly, and clean work areas.
Your Toolkit
  • Experience as an HVAC/R service tech or allied trade professional (construction, property maintenance, appliance repair).
  • Solid mechanical skills with hands-on work on heating and cooling equipment.
  • Fluency with schematics and HVAC design concepts; confident in field procedures.
  • Background in plumbing and electrical; ammonia refrigeration exposure is a plus.
  • Welding or boiler maintenance experience is a plus.
  • Comfort with HVAC diagnostic tools and measurement techniques.
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record for travel between customer sites.

  • Lift 50+ lbs.
  • Work at elevation and in rooftops, attics, basements, and varied temperatures.

  • Stand, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.
