Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring an Assembler 1 for our client. This job is responsible for assembling printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) and related electronic components in a manufacturing environment. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow assembly documentation, and adherence to quality standards to ensure accurate and reliable product assembly.

This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow assembly documentation, and adherence to quality standards to ensure accurate and reliable product assembly.
What’s a Typical Day Like?
- Demonstrate a basic understanding and application of IPC-A-610 standards.
- Read and follow shop documentation and assembly drawings accurately.
- Identify and read values, polarity, and orientation of thru-hole components.
- Verify component orientation and polarity according to printed circuit board reference designators and silk screen markings.
- Verify thru-hole component values and correct placement locations.
- Utilize production equipment and assembly tools including:
- Hand tools
- Electronic cutters PCB depaneling equipment; Automatic screw guns and feeders; Pneumatic dispensing equipment; Other required assembly tools
- Maintain accuracy and quality throughout the assembly process.
- Follow all documented operational and quality procedures.
- Notify Management, Supervisors, or Team Leaders of quality concerns or process deviations.
- Remain attentive and alert while working on the production floor.
- Accept and apply constructive feedback.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned..
What Are the Requirements of the Job?
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous production assembly experience preferred; training will be provided as needed.
- Basic understanding of electronic components and assembly processes preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Dependable, motivated, and able to work independently or in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and operate production equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Frequent bending, twisting, squatting, kneeling, stretching, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required for handling small electronic components.
- Good eyesight required for component identification and placement accuracy.
- Ability to move or lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Work performed in and around production areas with frequent interaction with team members.
