Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Opportunity

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Chicago Ridge SNF, a leading provider of healthcare services in Chicago Ridge, Illinois. As a CNA, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional, resident-centered care to our residents. Responsibilities:

  • Assist nurses with resident care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and restorative nursing procedures

  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents

  • Perform vital signs and document results in the EMR

  • Keep residents' bed, dresser, bathroom, and general living area clean and tidy

  • Answer call lights promptly and report any changes in resident's condition to the charge nurse

  • Assist with resident transfers and re-admissions

  • Complete assignment reports and maintain accurate records

  • Detect and report situations that have a high probability of causing accidents or injuries to residents and/or staff

  • Maintain infection control and universal precaution practices

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a current Certified Nurse's Assistant certificate in the State of Illinois

  • A high school diploma is preferred

  • Ability to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
