Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Chicago Ridge SNF, a leading provider of healthcare services in Chicago Ridge, Illinois. Responsibilities:
Assist nurses with resident care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and restorative nursing procedures
Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
Perform vital signs and document results in the EMR
Keep residents' bed, dresser, bathroom, and general living area clean and tidy
Answer call lights promptly and report any changes in resident's condition to the charge nurse
Assist with resident transfers and re-admissions
Complete assignment reports and maintain accurate records
Detect and report situations that have a high probability of causing accidents or injuries to residents and/or staff
Maintain infection control and universal precaution practices
Qualifications:
Must hold a current Certified Nurse's Assistant certificate in the State of Illinois
A high school diploma is preferred
Ability to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel
Good communication and interpersonal skills
