Your day starts at 6:00 a.m. You’ll plan tooling, complete intricate machine setups, dial in first articles to +/- .0002, and move seamlessly into steady production—making offsets and smart program tweaks to keep quality and throughput in harmony. Overtime is available depending on workload.

  • Occasionally program new parts (about 5–10 per year) using Mastercam or similar CAM
  • Inspect with micrometers, calipers, CMM equipment, gauges, and eye loupes
  • Troubleshoot machine, tooling, programming, and quality issues to root cause
