CNC Laser Cutting Specialist -- Fabrication

Starflex is adding an experienced CNC laser professional to our growing fabrication team. If you’ve run laser equipment in a fast-moving manufacturing setting and take pride in clean cuts, accurate parts, and steady production flow, you’ll feel right at home here.

A day in this role

You arrive to a well-organized cell, review the day’s work orders, and scan 2D drawings to plan setups. You stage sheet stock, load the table, dial in your program, and run first-article parts. With calipers and micrometers in hand, you confirm dimensional accuracy, tweak as needed, and then keep the line moving to hit daily goals. Along the way, you collaborate with production and quality teammates and handle basic maintenance and troubleshooting to keep uptime high.

What you’ll do

• Set up and operate CNC laser cutting equipment for production runs
• Interpret blueprints and work orders to plan efficient cuts
• Safely load and unload sheet material and finished parts
• Inspect parts for quality and dimensional conformity
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
• Sustain production flow and meet daily output targets
• Partner closely with production and quality teams

What you bring

• Hands-on experience operating CNC laser machinery (required)
• Amada laser background preferred; experience on other laser platforms welcome
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers)
• Sharp attention to detail and quality standards
• Reliable work ethic and consistent attendance
• Forklift experience is a plus
