CNC Machinist II

CNC Machinist

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with experience to set up, program, and operate CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of controls, tooling, and precision inspection.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Set up CNC milling machines, including materials, fixtures, tooling, and workholding
• Program and operate machines
• Adjust feeds, speeds, tool offsets, and machine settings to maintain production and quality
• Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools
• Verify dimensions, tolerances, and surface finishes meet specifications
• Troubleshoot machine issues and make necessary adjustments
• Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, and tooling changes
• Maintain accurate production, setup, tooling, and inspection records
• Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures

Qualifications

• Proven CNC Machinist experience;
• Proficiency with programming
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Experience with CNC setup, tooling, offsets, and precision inspection
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills and a safety-focused mindset
