Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Van Driver (CNA) to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a Van Driver (CNA), you will be responsible for safely transporting patients to and from medical appointments, as well as ensuring their overall well-being during transportation. Responsibilities:
Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments, following their healthcare providers' instructions
Monitor patients' condition and adjust transportation plans as needed to ensure their safety and comfort
Provide basic care to patients during transportation, including assistance with eating, drinking, and using the restroom
Maintain accurate records of patient transportation, including mileage, dates, and any incidents
Collaborate with healthcare providers and other team members to ensure seamless patient care
Participate in regular training and quality assurance activities to maintain compliance with regulatory standards
Requirements:
Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or associate's degree preferred
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for transportation
Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients, as needed
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
