Custom Closet Installer / Lead

Fast growing custom closet and home organization company looking for an experienced installer to lead residential installation projects. The Installer Lead is responsible for completing projects from start to finish while maintaining high standards for quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has experience in construction, carpentry, trim work, cabinetry, or custom installation. You should be comfortable working independently, solving problems in the field, communicating with customers, and leading an apprentice or helper.

Responsibilities

• Lead and complete residential installation projects from start to finish
• Review installation plans and verify measurements before and during installation
• Install custom closets, garages, pantries, home offices, and other organization systems
• Safely and efficiently use hand and power tools
• Identify and resolve installation issues in the field
• Maintain high standards for quality, fit, finish, and workmanship
• Lead and train an Installer Apprentice or helper
• Communicate professionally with customers and provide an excellent customer experience
• Keep the jobsite clean, organized, and professional
• Complete required job documentation and communicate project issues to management
• Work efficiently to meet scheduled installation times
• Load, unload, and properly care for company vehicles, tools, and materials

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction, carpentry, cabinetry, trim work, or installation experience preferred
• Experience with custom closets or built in cabinetry is a plus
• Strong knowledge of hand and power tools
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure and installation drawings
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently and leading others
• Professional communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to lift and move materials and work on your feet throughout the day
• Willingness to work occasional Saturdays
