Certified Nursing Assistant

Pennypack Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is hiring compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our care team. Opportunities are available for full-time, part-time, and per diem staff across all shifts. In this role, CNAs provide essential daily care and support to residents while promoting comfort, dignity, and safety within a skilled nursing setting.

Certified Nursing Assistants Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility

• Support residents during meals and encourage proper nutrition and hydration

• Measure and document vital signs, and report any changes in condition to nursing staff

• Help with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation using proper safety techniques

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and services provided

• Follow infection control, safety, and facility protocols at all times

• Offer emotional support and companionship to residents

• Collaborate with nurses and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure quality resident outcomes

Certified Nursing Assistants Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the applicable state

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus, but not required

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Reliable attendance and commitment to teamwork and resident-centered care

Schedule

• Full-time, part-time, and per diem roles available

• Day, evening, and night shifts offered

• Weekend and holiday availability may be required
