Amber Court of Westbury is seeking a dynamic Medication Technician.
Key Responsibilities:
Medication Administration: Safely passing medications, including diabetics and narcotics, according to doctor orders.
Documentation: Updating EMARs and or Medication Administration Records (MAR) to ensure accurate, timely charting.
Monitoring: Observing residents for potential side effects, adverse reactions, or changes in condition.
Pharmacy Coordination: Reordering, receiving, and or organizing medication supplies.
Safety & Compliance: Maintaining a clean medication cart and secure medication room in compliance with state/federal rules.
