CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) (STNA) Dayshift

At Scarlet Oaks Retirement and Rehabilitation Center, we are committed to providing exceptional care and support to our residents, and we are seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / STNA to join our dedicated team.

As a vital member of our nursing staff, you will provide exceptional care and support for our residents under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, while growing in a positive, team-focused environment. CNA / STNA professionals play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents, and we are seeking individuals who share our commitment to dignity, respect, and compassion.

• Provide hands-on care for residents, including bathing, grooming, dressing, transferring, and repositioning

• Assist residents with meals and hydration, ensuring nutritional needs are met throughout each shift

• Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition to nursing staff

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care and daily log updates

• Keep rooms clean, organized, and safe, while promoting a homelike environment

• Support residents' rights by treating all individuals with kindness, dignity, and respect

• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and safety regulations

• Perform additional duties as requested by the Director of Nursing or supervisory staff

• Current and valid CNA or STNA certification for the state of Ohio

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities

• Physical strength and endurance for a fast-paced care setting

• CPR and First Aid certification preferred

• Attention to detail and an understanding of patient care policies and procedures
