About the Role
As a Per Diem CNA, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents, including assisting with daily living activities, vital signs, and overall well-being. You will work closely with our healthcare team to ensure that each resident receives the best possible care, with a focus on dignity, respect, and compassion.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Assist with vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
Assist with feeding, toileting, and splinting as needed
Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
Participate in care planning and implementation with the interdisciplinary team
Maintain accurate and confidential records of resident care
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of care
Requirements
Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the State of Wisconsin
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents safely and effectively
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
