Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, including bathing, dressing, and toileting patients
• Assist patients with daily living activities, such as ambulation, transfers, and feeding
• Monitor and report any changes in patients' condition to nursing staff
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, which includes assisting with laundry and restocking supplies
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure seamless care transitions
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements:
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Connecticut
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a long-term care setting (training and education will be provided)
• Ability to lift, push, and pull patients and equipment as needed
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Salary:
$21.64 HOURLY
