LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) Eau Claire, WIWeekly Pay!Never Mandated!Currently looking for experienced LPNs to fill immediate openings. Interested candidates must hold a current LPN license in the WI state and have reliable transportation. Responsibilities of the LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) %CF; Educate patients and their families by assisting in preoperative, postoperative, and relevant health teaching. %CF; Administer medications by preparing medications; administering specified medication orally or by subcutaneous or intramuscular injection; recording dosage and time in patient record; maintaining logs. %CF; Provide ancillary medical care by dressing wounds; giving enemas, douches, alcohol rubs, and massages; applying compresses, ice bags, and hot water bottles. %CF; Maintain patient stability by taking and recording vital signs. %CF; Maintain patient nutrition by examining food trays for prescribed diet; feeding patients; recording food and fluid intake and output. %CF; Help patients with daily living by bathing, dressing, and assisting patients in walking and turning. %CF; Keep nursing supervisors informed by observing patients and reporting adverse reactions to medication or treatment. %CF; Maintain equipment and supplies by keeping catheters, tracheostomy tubes, and oxygen supplies available.
