Maintenance Technician

Summary

This positions responsibilities focus around the upkeep and repair of Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machinery, performing routine maintenance checks, assisting in diagnosing malfunctions, troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic systems, replacing parts as needed, and ensuring machines operate efficiently to minimize production downtime.

Primary Duties

Conduct all duties with safety as the highest priority.

Safety Compliance. Lock out tag out systems

Preventative maintenance Schedule adherence

Part Replacement

Clean and fill coolant tanks

Empty chip hoppers

Assist in Facilities Maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

Attention to detail

Demonstrated critical thinking

Strong communication skills

Ability to handle complex machines and tools

Computer literacy

Minimum Experience and Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent

1-3 years proficient in a CNC machine maintenance role or CNC Service tech certifications.

Physical Requirements

Ability to be on your feet for multiple hours a day

Ability to lift 50 lbs safely. (maximum lifting requirement for MST)

May require working in tight spaces and lifting.

Job requires walking, carrying, reaching, sitting, standing, use of hands (pushing/pulling)
