Building & Grounds Technician

Position: Maintenance Technician

Pay: $17.50 per hour

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 8-hour shift (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM), Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspection and repair of equipment, electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance issues.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or installations.
• Assist in developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Prior experience in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC/R systems, air conditioning, and appliance repair is required.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to read schematics.
• Ability to efficiently diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions.
• Leadership skills to manage maintenance projects and coordinate with team members.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
