Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Caregiver/Personal Assistant to provide exceptional support and care to individuals in need. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for clients by assisting with daily activities, ensuring safety, and fostering independence. The ideal candidate will be proactive, attentive, and committed to delivering personalized care in various settings, including home environments, assisted living facilities, or group homes. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor patients’ health status by observing, mental state, and overall well-being
• Follow care plans accurately while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Support clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed
• Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs to safely transfer individuals with mobility challenges
• Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning and sanitation tasks
• Document any changes in condition meticulously for accurate record-keeping

Requirements

• Prior experience in home health care, assisted living, nursing homes, group homes, taking care of a relative or loved one.
• Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, autism support, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities is advantageous
• Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks as needed
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and teams
• Demonstrated reliability with a compassionate approach to caregiving and patient support
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation may be required depending on assignment location
