CNC Machinist

PPS is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our growing manufacturing partner in Newbury, Ohio. This is a 1st-shift opportunity for a skilled machinist comfortable running CNC turning, milling, and multi-axis equipment while maintaining tight tolerances and production standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, turning centers, and multi-axis equipment
• Perform tool changes, offsets, and basic program edits
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and quality issues
• Monitor production and make adjustments to maintain tolerances
• Perform basic machine maintenance and keep equipment/work areas clean
• Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures

Requirements

• 3+ years of CNC machining experience
• Experience with CNC turning and/or milling
• Ability to perform offsets, tool changes, and program edits
• Strong blueprint reading and precision measurement skills
• Ability to work within tight tolerances
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
