Caregiver / Home Care Aide - Hospice Care
Job Description
Cornerstone Caregiving is seeking a compassionate, state-registered Home Care Aide to support a local hospice client. We are looking for someone with a heart for end-of-life care who can provide dignity and comfort in the home.
The Schedule:
4-hours
Day Shifts
What you’ll do:
Provide personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
Offer companionship and emotional support to the client and family.
Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation as needed
Provide medication reminders.
California State Requirements:
HCA Registry: Must be currently registered on the California Home Care Aide Registry (or willing to register).
Background Check: Must have a cleared Live Scan (DOJ/FBI) background check.
TB Clearance: Recent negative TB test results required.
Training: Must complete the state-mandated 5 hours of initial orientation/safety training before starting (we can help with this!).
Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
