Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education
- Experience with elementary school-aged students (grades 3-5)
- Strong background in either inclusion or adaptive program settings
- Ability to manage and support a caseload of approximately 10 students
- Expertise in creating and implementing IEPs
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Flexible, compassionate, and driven to promote student growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support to students in inclusive or adaptive classrooms
- Develop and maintain individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student strengths and needs
- Track progress, perform assessments, and adjust strategies for optimal student outcomes
- Collaborate with general educators, parents, and support staff to ensure a cohesive approach
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
