Fully onboarded, highly skilled paraprofessionals are sought for an impactful, 1:1 contract role working within SPED classrooms. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with students, helping them achieve their educational and personal goals in a collaborative school setting.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong background as a paraprofessional, specifically in SPED (Special Education) classrooms
- Extensive hands-on experience supporting students with diverse needs
- Fully onboarded in Bullhorn, ready to begin within 3 business days of contract signing
- Ability to provide focused, personalized support in a 1:1 setting
- Professional, adaptable, and compassionate team player
Key Responsibilities:
- Work directly with assigned student, providing academic and behavioral support throughout the school day
- Assist with lesson implementation and classroom activities as directed by the lead teacher
- Support inclusion and participation of student in all classroom and school activities
- Maintain clear and effective communication with teachers and school staff
- Ensure student safety, well-being, and engagement at all times
- Track progress, manage documentation, and collaborate on IEP goals
This contract position runs Monday through Friday, 8am–3pm, starting as soon as Tuesday, 8/25. Your readiness and ability to start quickly are essential, as is your commitment to helping students grow and thrive.
