Job Description
A 13-week travel assignment is available for a licensed Pharmacist to support a 25-bed critical access hospital in Clear Lake, CA. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to provide essential pharmacy services in a close-knit healthcare setting while working day shifts with a flexible schedule.
Location:
- Clear Lake, CA
Schedule:
- Day shifts, 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts
- Schedule flexibility available; Director of Pharmacy open to block scheduling
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders and ensure accuracy
- Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow efficiency
- Consult with physicians and healthcare team members on medication therapies
- Monitor pharmacokinetics to optimize patient treatment
- Utilize EPIC and Omnicell systems for medication management and documentation
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current California Pharmacist license required
- Proven experience in a hospital pharmacy setting
- Full-time availability throughout the 13-week assignment
