Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required
• Valid state license or eligibility to obtain
• Demonstrated experience operating X-ray equipment and performing diagnostic imaging procedures
• Strong knowledge of imaging protocols, safety standards, and radiation protection measures
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction

Responsibilities:

• Conduct accurate X-ray and diagnostic radiology procedures according to provider orders
• Prepare patients for imaging, explaining processes, and ensuring comfort and safety throughout each exam
• Calibrate, clean, and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly
• Collaborate with physicians and fellow staff to review and transmit imaging results for diagnostic evaluation
• Adhere strictly to infection control guidelines and safeguard patient confidentiality
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
