Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations, providing direct counseling services, and developing intervention plans tailored to individual needs. You’ll consult with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive educational strategies, contribute to IEP meetings, and promote a positive learning atmosphere. This contract position fosters professional development and growth while allowing for impactful, one-on-one support of students.
Ideal candidates will bring:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or the credentials required for school-based practice.
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field.
- Experience working with K-5 students, especially in diverse and inclusive settings.
- Skill in administering assessments, analyzing results, and crafting individualized support plans.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with IEP procedures and knowledge of state and federal education regulations.
- Proactive, compassionate approach to supporting all students' needs.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Provide psychological assessments and counseling for elementary-aged children.
