Warehouse Auditor
Job Description
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Auditor to support distribution center operations by verifying outbound order accuracy before shipment. In this critical quality role, you'll inspect orders across small parcel, LTL, and national account channels using RF scanning technology to ensure customer requirements are met and shipments leave the facility accurately and on time.

What You'll DoAs a Warehouse Auditor, you will serve as the final checkpoint before orders are shipped to customers.
Order Auditing & VerificationSet up and operate RF scan guns for tote and order audits.
Scan and verify products against expected quantities and units of measure (UOM).
Inspect outbound orders for accuracy before release for shipment.
Verify compliance with customer-specific packaging and labeling requirements.
Complete defect sheets for discrepancies discovered during audits.
Route discrepancy documentation and affected orders to the appropriate Picking Lead or Clerk for correction.
Re-audit corrected orders prior to release.
Maintain accurate records of audit findings and quality issues.
Apply correct tote and box labels, flags, and box-count documentation.

Verify customer-specific requirements for national accounts, including:
Carton packing standards
Pallet labeling
Special shipping instructions

Identify and escalate shipping discrepancies, including:
Incorrect Ship Via methods
Missing account information
Quantity mismatches
Handle products, totes, and pallets carefully to maintain product integrity.
Support auditing activities across parcel, LTL, and national account workflows.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and customer-specific requirements consistently.
This is a quality inspection and reporting role.
Warehouse Auditors:
Identify and document errors.
Report discrepancies.
Verify corrections.
Warehouse Auditors do not:
Correct picking errors themselves.
Direct pickers to make corrections.
Leave their assigned station to resolve issues.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Warehouse, distribution, inventory, or quality inspection experience preferred but not required.
Ability to learn and operate RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to follow detailed written procedures.
Basic math skills for quantity verification and unit-of-measure checks.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Pay Details: $17.00 per hour
