Retail Staff Pharmacist - North Judson, IN

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position offers a unique opportunity to serve in a dynamic outpatient hospital retail pharmacy setting, located in North Judson, IN. The role requires a dedicated pharmacist to work between 4 to 5 days per week, from 9 am to 6 pm, over an 8 to 13-week contract period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and verify technician-prepared prescription orders before release
• Maintain the security of the pharmacy and controlled substances in accordance with regulations
• Enter prescription orders and patient information precisely using the Pioneer RX system
• Collaborate with pharmacy management, including a Pharmacy Manager, 1 full-time pharmacist, and 2 full-time technicians to ensure smooth operation

Qualifications:

• Valid Indiana pharmacy license is required
• Proven pharmacy experience, preferably in outpatient or retail settings
• Experience with Pioneer RX order entry system is preferred to enhance efficiency
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Ability to maintain a secure and organized pharmacy environment

Work Schedule:

• 4 to 5 days per week
• Daily hours from 9 am to 6 pm
