School Speech Language Pathologist - Davison, MI

You'll serve a variety of students, including those in general education with speech needs as well as children on the autism spectrum or with mild cognitive challenges, fostering meaningful progress in a collaborative educational environment.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Previous experience in school-based SLP roles preferred
• Familiarity supporting students with a range of speech and language needs, including those with mild cognitive disabilities or on the spectrum
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with educators, families, and students
• Ability to create a supportive and inclusive environment for all learners
• Excellent case management, documentation, and progress monitoring abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and appropriate interventions
• Deliver therapy services to students in both general and special education settings
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure holistic student support
• Maintain required compliance documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
• Provide consultative services and resources for staff and families as needed
