We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support a dynamic healthcare team and help ensure an exceptional patient experience. In this role, you will assist with both clinical and administrative tasks, contributing to smooth daily operations and high-quality care delivery. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients, prepare examination rooms, and assist with patient intake.
  • Record vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant patient information.
  • Assist healthcare providers with examinations and minor procedures as needed.
  • Administer medications or injections as directed and within scope of practice, if applicable.
  • Perform basic laboratory tasks such as specimen collection, processing, and preparation.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records and practice systems.
  • Schedule appointments, coordinate follow-up care, and support patient communications.
  • Manage supplies, restock exam rooms, and help maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
  • Follow all infection control, safety, privacy, and compliance procedures.
  • Provide courteous and professional support to patients, families, and team members.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant training program.
  • Prior experience in a clinical or healthcare setting required.
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology, patient care procedures, and electronic health records.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and commitment to patient confidentiality.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with EHR systems and medical office software.
  • Familiarity with phlebotomy, laboratory procedures, or point-of-care testing.
  • Knowledge of medical office scheduling and insurance-related workflows.
  • Comfort working with patients of diverse ages and backgrounds.
